Shop Policies

Can I cancel my order?

Orders may be cancelled only if they have not been marked as shipped. Once shipped I cannot recall them from the Post Office.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Returns and exchanges are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order if there is a problem with it.

Custom or personalized items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

The buyer must contact HFA within 14 days of delivery with a reason for requesting a return/refund. In the event that HFA grants a refund, the buyer is required to return the original item(s) to HFA in its original new condition and in the original packaging. After the buyer receives notification that a refund will be granted, the buyer must ship the item(s) within 3 business days to the address specified by HFA. The buyer must also email a tracking number to Once a tracking number is received and the USPS tracking system shows the package was accepted, HFA will issue the refund. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Do you do custom illustrations?

At the moment I am a busy little bee and am unable to accept custom illustration requests.

What type of paper do you use for your prints?

I use professional acid-free photo paper and fine art paper ranging from 232 gsm to 330 gsm. The paper has a matte finish that most closely resembles the original work.

Are the prints professionally printed?

I print all of my work myself on my professional Canon imagePROGRAF printer using archival pigmented inks. I prefer this method so I can control the quality of my prints and ensure they are as close to the originals as possible.

A note on colors...

I strive to accurately represent all of my products in their photos. Colors shown may vary on different monitors and devices.

I use the United States Post Office (USPS).

Orders ship based on their weights. Qualifying shipping methods will be shown at checkout. You may choose from any of the ones shown.

Processing vs. Transit Times

I ship most orders within 1-3 business days - this is my processing time. Transit time is the time from when the USPS receives the item to the time it is delivered to you.

Do you ship internationally?

No, I apologize, I do not ship internationally at this time.

How do you package your items for shipment?

I use new envelopes, boxes or flat cardboard mailers.

Single greeting cards and prints are sent flat in an envelope or cardboard mailer. Prints are also packaged in a cello sleeve with a backing board.

Boxed greeting cards, notebooks and notepads are sent in a 32 ECT box. Items are cushioned with recycled newsprint, kraft paper, tissue paper, or bubble wrap according to their needs.

My order arrived damaged.

While I make every effort to safely package your item, sadly it's possible that your package may get damaged in transit. If this happens, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. Email me your order number, photos of the damaged unopened package and the damaged item (after the package is opened).

My order never arrived.

Most items will ship with a tracking number. In the event that an order never reaches its destination as confirmed by the USPS tracking system stating “In Transit” for more than 30 business days, a refund or replacement item will be issued to the buyer. Items lost in the mail are not the responsibility of Heather Ferlazzo Art (HFA), however, HFA will issue a refund for the lost item including the shipping cost or will ship the replacement item at no cost to the buyer.

Oops, wrong address!

PLEASE double-check the delivery address before submitting your order. The buyer is responsible for submitting the complete and correct shipping address. HFA is not responsible for orders that are undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address. HFA is also not responsible for orders that arrive at the wrong address. The buyer assumes the cost of re-ordering and re-shipping the order to the correct address.
